The Montessori Children’s House is located in the Crossings area
of the West Kendall area. Montessori
Children's House is licensed as an educational institution
through Miami, Dade County and the State of Florida. The school
is accredited through the Pan American Montessori Society (PAMS)
and has been a member of the American Montessori Society (AMS)
since 1976. The school is open all year round, with the regular
school year running from August to May, and offers two optional
monthly summer sessions. Extended child care hours are available
during the regular school year. We welcome families of all
religions, ethnic origins, and economic backgrounds.
Our 4,000 square-foot school has two large preschool and kindergarten
classrooms, one toddler classroom, six individual child appropriate
bathrooms, an office, and a large fully equipped kitchen. In the
immediate rear of the school, Montessori Children's House offers an
additional safely enclosed, recently updated rubber mulched shaded
playground with a large covered lunch area. There are three drive
through lanes under covered awnings for the parent's convenience and
children's protection to drop-off their child at morning arrival and/or
pick-up their child at late morning and afternoon dismissal.
