Gymnastics

Montessori Children's House is pleased to announce its association with Octaviano's Studio of Gymnastics, 12420 S.W. 117 Court, Miami, FL 33176, (305) 255-381.

Rudolfo Alfonso, owner, has over twenty-three years of gymnastics experience and his son, Anthony Alfonso, over ten years of experience.  Both instructors are Safety Certified and USAG members.

Octaviano's Studio of Gymnastics will bring their vast knowledge and experience in the sport of gymnastics into our school.  Both instructors will present to our P/K/K students (ages 3 - 6) onsite a gymnastic's program centered on the following apparatus and skills: Vault, Bars, Beam and Floor fundamentals.  This balanced approach seeks to develop in our students both their mind and body so that the children develop coordination, increase overall flexibility and acquire confidence in themselves.  Building on the above skills, the four and five year old students will advance their competence as the exercises are mastered as per the USAG Compulsory Program.

This extra-curricular program will be available to interested students twice weekly during the extended lunch/playground hour.

Additionally, Octaviano's Studio of Gymnastics will offer at their facility gymnastic programs on designated teacher work days and during Spring/Winter breaks for any interested Montessori students when MCH is closed.
