Montessori Children's House is pleased to offer a quality extra curricular gymnastics program on site provided by Gymnastic Wizards. Gymnastic Wizards is located nearby at 12600 S.W. 130 Street, and will provide this program for interested three to six year old students (minimum of eight/maximum of 10 students).  Their program encourages each gymnast to reach his/her full potential as a successful athlete physically and emotionally.

Gymnastics Wizards Owner/head coach, Caridad Fernandez, began gymnastics in 1971 and is USA Gymnastic Certified. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology and has been a gymnastics coach since 1986.  She holds a USAG Instructor Membership and is USAG Safety Certified.

The program at MCH will include a one hour weekly class from 12:00 - 1:00 of recreational gymnastics. Bars, balance beam, vault, and floor exercise essentials will be the main components of the class. This class will help children to develop their coordination and increase overall flexibility.  It will introduce them to the world of gymnastics and will help them to increase their self-esteem and their confidence in their abilities.

Gymnastic Wizards will provide 2 free Saturday morning classes monthly at their gym for the children enrolled in the MCH program. 

Montessori Children's House has affiliated with Ocaquatics Swim School,  13408 SW 131 Street, to offer swimming instruction customized for it's students. Their 30,000-gallon indoor heated pool in West Kendall is equipped with the latest in innovations designed to provide the ultimate in both safety and bather comfort. Ocaquatics specializes in offering swimming lessons in small groups that are age and skill-level appropriate. Their classes include Parent and Me, Toddler, Preschool and School Age Groups.
